How do I access the Device Manager in a Windows Operating System?

Hello Friends,

I want to access the device manager in a windows operating system, but I am facing some problems with it. If anyone knows how to do it please help me.

Windows 7

1. Click Start and then select Control Panel.
2. Click the System and Security link > System > Device Manager
Note: If you’re viewing the Large icons or Small icons view of Control Panel, you won’t see this link. Simply click Device Manager.

Windows Vista

1. Click Start and then select Control Panel.
2. Click the System and Maintenance link.
Note: If you’re viewing the Classic View of Control Panel, you won’t see this link. Simply double-click the Device Manager icon.
3. In the System and Maintenance window, click the Device Manager link near the bottom of the window.

Windows XP

1. Click Start > Settings and then select Control Panel.
2. Click the Performance and Maintenance link.
Note: If you’re viewing the Classic View of Control Panel, you won’t see this link. Double-click the System icon and proceed to Step 4.
3. In the Performance and Maintenance window, click the System icon near the bottom of the window.
4. In the System Properties window, click the Hardware tab.
5. In the Hardware tab, click the Device Manager button.
