First of all, you need to assess the environment you are working in and what activities will be taking place there. Each commercial space has a different use as as well as different risk level for fires. A smaller commercial office may be considered low risk while a commercial kitchen is generally considered as being a much higher risk.
Now, some kitchens will install a fire suppression system to help protect against fires, but fires can still happen. Since they work with heat and grease, the fire hazard is much greater compared to an office area. Even offices need to be careful though as they tend to have a lot of electrical equipment running throughout the day, which could heat up and cause a fire as well.
