Here are some common causes:
– Back sprain/strain
You might have injured your back. This often happens as a result of things like heavy lifting without proper posture. If so, you may have a back sprain/strain.
This is a medical condition which is essentially an issue with the nerves between your feet and pelvis. Sciatica causes back pain.
– A slipped disc
This was my issue. It’s where a disc is pressing against a nerve in the spine and causing pain
– Muscular causes
Various muscular issues could be causing pain. A physiotherapist may be able to help.
– Psychological causes
Sometimes, the pain could be caused by an underlying psychological issue, as opposed to a physical problem with your back.
As you can see, back pain can be caused by many different things. I visited this website and, after realizing I had some of the symptoms listed on there, decided to ask spinal surgeon in Basingstoke to identify the source of mine. It turned out to be a slipped disc. I’d recommend speaking to your GP or chiropractor.
