Warranty is a type of cover that you can have on a vehicle that is a promise from the manufacturer that they will repair any damage to the vehicle that is inflicted as a result of their manufacturing. Basically, if you crash your car, then this will be a matter for your insurance company, rather than your warranty. However, if you have problems with your car that are caused by the manufacturer’s parts and you need to have them repaired then your warranty should cover this, providing that you’re still within the warranty period. If you so choose, you can also purchase a warranty for your car that will cover you once your original manufacturer’s warranty has expired. One popular warranty plan that I’ve used before is Carchex. You can read about Carchex here. Most warranty plans will cover repairs and damage as well as offering roadside assistance and other benefits.
