Before deciding which type of printing is better, it is important to understand the difference between the two printing methods.
Digital printing is by far much better for smaller print jobs. A digital printer is toner based and is much easier and faster to set up. It is a cost-effective and practical way to do small scale print-on-demand projects.
Offset printing is generally used for large printing jobs. Offset printing done by burning an image onto a metallic plate through the use of a computerized image machine. The plate is attached to a cylinder roller and covered with rubber. The paper gets fed through the roller system and the print is then transferred to the paper. This type of printing has been done for over a century and is widely used for high volume printing jobs today. It is much more cost effective to do it this way.
